While procrastinating about -- something or other today, this thought popped into my head, as they tend to do when one's deliberately idling. What makes people pick their lj handles? Is there a story behind them, or a reason? Looking at my flist, I can figure out some of them, or at least make an educated guess but others of them puzzle me mightily.

So - would any of you care to share the reasons for your choices?

Well no, the ducks bit I got *g*. The 'in a row' bit I missed though - I guessed there had to be some kind of play on words in there somewhere (hey, c'mon, it's *you* we're talking about here) but I couldn't see it. Thanks, I'll be able to sleep nights now LOL
