Cats - 2, Tech - 0

Not often it happens, but today has been a day when I've risen up and slain recalcitrant techy stuff :-) At least, two of the techy things that've been giving me grief of late are now lying dead in a welter of something or other at my feet: there still remains the Great AIM Mystery. AIM has gone. Has disowned me, packed its bags and stolen away. And what's worse, I can't get it to come back :-(
