skater_g8r so I guess there's no escape *g*
Name 5 simple pleasures that you like most(ish), then pick 5 people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used. Tag 5 people on your list.
1. Potatoes. Any way they come except chips (fries) or crisps (chips). People deride the humble potato, but really? Best. Taste. Ever. *g*
2. Cuddles from my kids. They're all grown up now - and I'm glad to say the cuddles, they don't stop :-) Maybe not as frequent as they used to be, but they still happen enough to make me happy :-)
3. The smell of things or people who've been outdoors for a while on a dry, chilly day. You know, that crisp, clean, *cold* smell that clings to flesh and clothes that you part smell, part feel inside your nose. ::nods:: I love that smell.
4. The feel of clean, crisply ironed, cotton sheets. I love bed changing day and if I was a rich woman, I'd have clean cotton sheets every single day and someone to wash and iron them for me.
5. Tar lorries. Another smell that I love, rich and astringent. And I'm in hog heaven now, seeing as the council have pavement resurfacing schemes all over the place including one at the end of my street ::beams::
So, now tagging:
