Dear flist - thank you! You came up trumps! All those crossed fingers and good wishes worked because yesterday was a *spectacularly* good day :-) Not too sunny in the morning when all the prep needed to be done, but glorious in the afternoon, when it mattered, and warm well into the evening. As in we didn't need to come into the house until gone 10 pm. Only downside was the midges, but you get used to them living up here *g*

Back to business as usual today though, the rain was coming down like stair rods ten minutes ago and work on the Ark is resuming.
