The bit that I thought funniest though was the fact that the sound system wasn't working all that well, and the guy that was fussing around with it was dressed in full canonicals LOLOL.
This totally cracked me up as well. I don't know if you were able to observe this, seeing as you were sittig on the other side of the aisle from the tech guy, but RDA stayed with him for quite a while after the auction had ended, chatting to him and probably thanking him for letting them use the Cathedral for the auction, which I thought was very classy of him.
