By the way eye surgery is not that scary as it sounds. I completely shared your sentiments, but after talking to ppl who actually had it I gathered my courage and went for it. It's over a year now and thankfully I never regretted my decision. I had PRK which is less intrusive than LASIK . http://www.prk.com/PRK_exp.html The laser basically disintegrates a few molecules on the surface of the eye. It's fast, completely controlled, very very marginal possibility of error.The machine I had experience with even follows your tiniest pupil movement and able to stop and continue if it's needed (actually that was what convinced me since I can't imagine not to move my eye for over a minute).
