#5 is a character from a sitcom, and in the nature of these things, it was stocked with caricatures: the repressed military man, the screaming queen, the bit of skirt, the jack-the-lad and the over-the-hill sex-mad widow with the hots for the military man. Mrs. Slocombe (her full name) was a tremendous excuse for the writers to write innuendo, since she kept a cat ;-)
