By Joy this time.

What are the scariest movies you've seen? Make #1 the movie that *still* scares you. Top 5, if you have them, otherwise, don't worry about it. *gg*

NOTE: I did not say "Horror Film" but the scariest movie(s).

I don't watch horror movies though - I have a pathetically low scare threshold :-(

Still, I *want* candy ;-) So here goes!

5. Jaws. I *still* jump when the head rolls through the bottom of the boat.

4. Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

3. The Birds. If you saw the flocks of starlings that wheel around here on their way to the Forth Bridge, you'd understand.

2. Predator. I hate that sick "I see something you don't see and it's creeping up on you RIGHT NOW' vibe. Especially when it results in blood and guts. Especially especially when it's the blood and guts of a character that I rather like.

1. Cliffhanger. I can't stand heights. Hate them. And the bit where the person falls off the rope over the abyss? Makes my palms sweat and my heart race. I can't bear to watch it.

Okay, so laugh and point - I'm a wuss, I admit it :-( What's even worse - I had to seriously think before I settled on Cliffhanger. Just about any Harold Lloyd silent would have done :-(((

And now the evil grin portion of the entertainment - the tagging :-) Erm...

Oh yah. Watching those, knowing how technical stunts *weren't* in those days kinda makes you tense a little to say the least! The one with the clock. That always gives me a shudder and makes me want to close my eyes.

Ack, the one with the clock - I'd totally blanked on that one title wise, but that was one that was foremost in my mind when I was doing this :-(((

that's boo! from "monsters inc"! which is about as scary as i can stand! (truly. the scenes with the doors give me vertigo.)

or, as some of my friends said when they first saw it, "this movie starring [raqs], with ponytails."

(when i was very wee i did look something like boo. but she's way braver than me.)
