Well, I'm back from Turkey :-) Knackered (it's been a long day), freezing cold (because we've just come back from a couple of days where the temperature hit 50 C and it was 19 C when we arrived in Glasgow), and very, very brown :-)))

Expect some boring holiday tales soon *g*

And man, you lot have been chatty in the last couple of weeks. It's going to take most of tomorrow to catch up, I think. Unless anyone would care to give me the potted version of what's been going on?

::nods:: Although, when you've nothing much to do, 50 isn't so bad. I'd hate to have to work in it though. It was a bit of a shock to drop 31 degrees in a matter of four hours - some *days* are 31 degrees!

There's no way short of hospitalization or natural catastrophe that could make me go two weeks without my compy crutch, and maybe I could be bribed to go without internet access but it'd have to be a serious bribe. I need my pals--all I have is my roomie. I'm sad like that.*g* But really, no seduction on this planet... er, wait... seduction... by a certain someone... well, there's a possibility. :-p

Yanno, I wasn't entirely sure that two net-free weeks were possible either before I went there. I had every intention of finding a net cafe at least once and checking my mail. But when it came right down to it, there were walks to take, and beaches to visit... and basically I was just too damn lazy *g*

Talking of pretties - there was this one guy - NOT terribly pretty to look at generally but crikey moses, WHAT a package O.O The kind of basket that makes you hope beyond reason that he's a shower and not a grower too...

Either that or he was storing his clean socks there *g*. But it was so funny, every eye on the beach, male *and* female, was totally rivetted and there was a moment of total silence, I swear to god LOL. Just like all those old cowboy films when the badass walks into the saloon, everyone shuts up and no one moves anything but their eyes LOL. The Man was hissing at me, 'Get a freakin' photo, *nobody* is going to believe that if you don't' and I was scrabbling through the bag for the camera - which was back at the hotel :-(

I made sure I had the camera at the beach the next day *g* - but we only saw him once.

*g* It sounds worse in proper numbers, doesn't it? It was okay though, 'cos it was dry heat, not a shred of humidity. Humidity's usually the killer with me, rather than heat. I was happy as a clam *g*
