Here we are again

Well, that's that then. The last week has gone in a complete and utter blur - why is it that when you're enjoying yourself, time goes super-fast? I know
skater_g8r has a theory about that - and I'm starting to think that her theory might be right ;-)
feather_autant left this morning :-( Still, we had a whale of a time while she was here :-) A day in Embra and her (by now) notorious scheme involving burning arms and bedsheets to lead us out of peril, then Teh Fabulous Weekend in Berwick in brilliant company (
nicci_mac,
sazzle_02,
historyterry,
yragg, feather and me). P-shop tuts from Nicci, yomping around Lindisfarne, artsy photography, Roger the Amazing Dildo, slash chat galore, giggles and shits (literally in some cases LOL), marvellous food, many and various dvds, Trumbo, the Wonder of Vegetables, convenient gorse and its inconvenient cousins -- these were only some of the highlights.
::sigh:: I wish I had it all to do again.
And now here I am, sitting on the couch in the livingroom, knitting my socks with the yarn I fell for in a biiiig way in St. Abbs and pondering Mac slash. (Okay, those two things aren't necessarily bad things *g*)
You guys - I've heard from Feather: BA have fucked up her itinerary this time too ::sigh:: A lengthy delay in Edinburgh this morning meant she missed her connection at Heathrow and had to go on a later plane: this in turn is looking like an unscheduled six hour layover in SeaTac waiting for an alternative connection for home :-( Fingers crossed she might be able to blag her way onto an earlier flight out of SeaTac but Heathrow weren't hopeful :-(((
Oh, and I have to tell you all - yes, I did go twice around Embra Airport in an attempt to find the way out. It's becoming a tradition - and I'll maintain to my dying breath that yes, it was deliberate. We have an award winning control tower, you know *g*
