Do you remember a TV programme that explained how magic tricks work? Presented by a guy in a mask? What the hell was it called? And what was the guy's name that presented it?

The guy was called Val Valentino (the masked magician)

I think that it was a series of four tv specials in which he reaveled the secrets of magic tricks

The Masked Magician was the star of Nash's five "Breaking the Magician's Code: Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed" specs, which scored big ratings for Fox in the late 1990s

This was driving me NUTS - especially since I couldn't find anything on google because I couldn't remember the exact title.

hehehe it was driving me nuts too. I actually tried googling 'magician +mask' but that got me nowhere, then I had the bright idea of doing an image search for magicians in masks cos I knew I would recognise his mask. The pic linked to a website article which gave me his real name, so I then googled that and got to the site I gave you the link to.
