OMG Love the banner!!!!

Those miniatures are incredible. The work involved must be a little like the micropaintings you get on pinheads and such. I think it was on Blue Peter or somewhere similar, but the guy was saying he has to actually paint between heartbeats to be still and accurate enough. I'm in awe. And way too much of a clumsy clod to ever attempt anything like that.

As for the kids, they always rebel, eh? I think Riv will either end up a Rabbi's wife with 12 kids, or become one of your lot and join a convent!

Rochel on the other hand, wants to be Avril Lavigne *g*

Painting between *heartbeats*? Crikey moses! I'm right there with ya on the clumsy thing :-( But I love these little park scenes, I think they're quite the most entertaining miniature I've ever seen :-)

nicci_mac - I watched her make it one night when I was at hers. Awesome work, and made to look awesomely easy, I can tell you, when it's anything but. The only time I've ever tried to manip was for the Trial Balance cover on my fic site: it took an age and turned out looking - meh, okay, I guess, but only 'cos I shrunk it down so small. No way could I ever make anything as good as this one.

The new look is very much a work in progress - it'll get done in fits and starts now I've got an inkling how to do it. Can't take the credit for the banner either, that was made by

nicci_mac even if it was to my specs *g*. She does lovely work.

The more I look at those scenes, the more I love love LOVE them - though I have to say the plot bunny metaphor didn't strike me *g*. Apt though!

Work in progress? How about Cats V.2. :) That way it's not "Unfinished" but a version of what you're up to. ;) And Nicci did an excellent job. :)
