New fic :-) Not SG1 this time, but MacGyver. Slash, NC17, written for
nicci_mac, who started the whole ball rolling by making a fabulous cover. An ep tag to the S1 episode "Trumbo's World". For any non-Mac fans who aren't familiar, this is the ep where MacGyver saves a plantation from marauding army ants mainly, yes, by busting a dam *g*. The story is ep-related, but I think it stands alone.
Grateful thanks to
princessofg,
yragg and
feather_autant, whose comments and corrections made this story a whole lot better than it was to start with. Any remaining mistakes are mine alone and due solely to bull-headedness. And it goes without saying, many thanks to
nicci_mac for the cover and for prodding me to get this done.

Date: 2007-10-30 11:11 pm (UTC)RDA at Gatecon? Oh, my god. The poor guy wants a chance to get to meet some of his fans and obtain charitable donations, but unfortunately he ends up dealing with the idiots of the world. I'm so afraid it will be a horrible experience for him.
I'd love to see RDA, but the one Gatecon I attended (#5, so you'd think they would learn!) was the worst run convention I've EVER been to, out of the 75-100 cons I've attended in the last 30 years. It seems RDA hasn't been talking to Shanks, or Michael would certainly have clued him in on the poor organization skills of the group. And their complete ignoring of all of the guests who suggested BETTER ways to get through the photo line that lasted (NOT exaggerating here!) for seven hours.
