While I was going through my photos from yesterday (and more of them, anon *g*) I came across the ones under the cut, which I meant to post at the time. They're from Budapest a couple of years ago.



They were all taken in a particular museum in Budapest. First, a wee bed



and a table and chairs.



The *real* Fisherman's Bastion



and the model one:



An embroidered cushion



And the star of the show, as far as I was concerned - an old-fashioned phonograph





I wonder if anyone can guess what they're made of?

I'm going to screen the comments so's not to spoil any potential fun ;-)

Well done, yes they are! And chocolate. The museum was the Museum of Marzipan, just behind the Fisherman's Bastion :-)

lots of rolled fondant I see ^_^ And I *want* the green oval one!!!! I've tried to do that lace technique for years and I just can't get it down.

My flist is obviously far more clued up on fancy confectionery than I thought... ;-) No cakes involved though, just marzipan, fondant icing and chocolate.

The cushion looks like it's covered in fondant frosting. Oooo, hey, how fun would that be - tiny stuff made out of cake and frosting?

You're right, and it was fun! They weren't all that tiny though, not in the dolls house sense of tiny. The phonograph was actual size! And the bed, as far as I remember, was about a foot high, maybe more.
