Crikey moses, I'm a tired wee bunny tonight. Went to the zoo today with Nicci and Xim and walked trillions of miles - and most of them very nearly perpendicular miles at that. Edinburgh Zoo is built on a hill that's not for the faint hearted!

I shall probably post some photos (shock! horror! say it ain't so!) - but not tonight. I'm just too damn wiped out.

Heh, Nicci's been snoring away for the past hour and a half -- I've just done my update, and I think I shall join her in coma land *g*

Actually, they're not bad this morning. The muscles, I mean. A little bit of a pull in the calves, but considering all the up hill and down dale we did yesterday, not bad at all. One of the benefits of walking around Edinburgh, you eventually get to be part mountain goat :-D

Boy, you're not kidding about that! It is an amazing view from the top, tho. That's all I really remember of the zoo, actually--the near vertical climb. And the penguins :-)

Heh, we saw the Penguin Parade *again* ;-) None of the King penguins this time though, they were nesting and not to be disturbed. It was a fun day out!

I finally managed to get back to Stonehaven just after midnight thanks to the lovely signals failure that basically had trains everywhere sitting idle. It was worth it, though, to have had the opportunity to meet you and Nicci and Xim. :-)
