Thank you! I only wish I could take credit for them but, alas I can't, except for the two not-so-good ones :-(. The *good* ones are by an assortment of people - fra, yragg, the grrrl, skater g8ter, skroberts and Carron, all people with real talent in that direction :-)

*preen* Thank you! Yes, it's the hand and the expression that got me, and made me want to mess around with it. Next to the folks you name, though, and some others on my flist, I feel like such an amateur in the icon-making department! :D

Seriously though, for a moment - I can't even claim that. I've just been incredibly lucky that some incredibly generous people have been kind enough to either give me their creations or allow me to use them :-)

I hear what you're saying - boy, do I ever! It would be lovely to get to the level of feeling at least 'proficient' (strictly from my pov - although it doesn't stop it being a lot of fun trying to get there even if it's frustrating at times ).
